hello!! i’m nick, 23 years old and egar to be apart of somthing extrordinary!! i’ve watched the 30 days episode featuring DR and i was moved to tears!! my wife (teri) and i are from modesto ca located in the central valley. being non religous vegan and vegatarian couple, we feel very alienated and in the cycle of the machine they call tradition and life here. if your not framilliar with the area its very conservative and unwilling for change… fearful place. the truth is that i’ve come to terms with the fact that i need to be the change wish to see in the world. i fear by staying in this area i will become a bitter person of complaint. we both have worked for resturants all our lives serving steaks and biscutts and gravy to people overwieght in wheel chairs, demanding our fake smiles and “im sorries” for immpossible attempts to make them happy. this mask we put on every day is filling us with the sence of losing who we are. i don’t blame anyone.. i just wish to work for a celebation of life… not a survival of making rent. i wish to be in a place where i can write music ( my biggest joy in life) and not feel like im wasting time or faking to be a apart of a record lable only interested in money. rambling aside i guess im asking what are the steps to joining the DR community? what i should do about credit card debt prioir to joing? we both love to cook and are very hard and eagar workers who what to learn. we are not interested in money… just a place we could really call home!
thank you for listening and i’m eagar to here back from you!
